Mr. Cartee became a partner in the law firm of Shelby and Cartee, in Birmingham, and for nearly 20 years he handled thousands of Asbestos cases for plaintiffs, most of whom were in the North Alabama area and many of whom were former TVA workers. Mr. Cartee has worked on various noteworthy cases, including the Microsoft Anti-trust Litigation and the PCB cases in Anniston against Monsanto Solutia. Mr. Cartee is admitted to the Alabama, Mississippi and the District of Columbia Bar Associations, The Federal Courts for those states, the Fifth and Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court.
