A California native, Mr. Burgis earned a B.S. degree in Economics with a minor in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2003. In 2008, Mr. Burgis earned a J.D. from Southwestern Law School and was admitted to the California Bar.
Mr. Burgis has obtained multiple Million Dollar plus and 100% disability awards for his clients. Mr. Burgis has successfully argued hundreds of cases before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. Mr. Burgis also had the rare and distinct honor of successfully arguing in front of the California Court of Appeals on a 100% permanent disability claim.
