John D Yamane

Growing up on a pineapple plantation on Lanai, where his father worked as a horticulturist for the Dole Pineapple Company, John D. Yamane later obtained his law degree from the University of Washington School of Law in 1978. He then worked as a clerk under Judge Liem Tuai of the Seattle Superior Court before returning to Hawaii, where he served in the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney, advocating for crime victims. John has since been involved in over 25 criminal and civil jury trials, fighting for the rights of those who have been injured by the careless actions of others.
