During the past 36 years attorney Russel Sundquist has represented over 2500 union members injured on and off the job. Workers’ compensation is a great benefit because it enables an employee to acquire compensation for their injuries without having to file a lawsuit against the employer. There is a catch, however, and that is that an employee cannot sue their employer for compensation in addition to receiving their workers’ compensation benefits if the employee receives workers’ compensation.
